There is no time greater than now, for the need of sex robots
By Mikhail Tank
As the originally chosen key-note speaker for the upcoming 3rd Annual Congress on Love and Sex with Robots, see screenshot below and radio interview via my iHeartRadio/iTunes podcast, Archetypal Mosaic, I was unable to attend due to a change in time and venue of the originally scheduled conference.
Here is an essential snippet of my presentation.
Men’s sexuality in society has been deeply repressed. Marriage alone does not satisfy most men’s true needs and the fact they promise to maintain a behavior of exclusive sexual desire is like promising to only read one book for the rest of one’s life. It’s false, unnatural and expected, for the benefit of society as a whole.
The silence of men’s suffering is powerful and unspoken. Most men feel sexually trapped for their entire lifetimes and at times this repression comes out in vulgar, aggressive and violent ways. Society immediately removes these men from view based on allegations, some factual whereas others are simply forms of vengeance. Most of these allegations are not vetted, but immediately believed and the men are disposed of with a heftier scarlet-like letter, which forever disenfranchises them from society. They become vilified outcasts.
To punish them is one thing, but to never look at the depth of the problem is society’s true problem.
Religion and ideology have instilled values of tremendous sexual repression in both sexes, but herein I will focus specifically on men’s repression.
After speaking with and interviewing several top people in the field, I realize there is a moral dilemma with the rights for robotic intelligence and sexual machines. I propose that there be two versions of such machines. ‘The Soul Ones’, which reach a certain level of emotional intelligence, as well as ‘Simply Machines’ the ones who will be used for sexual pleasure and gratification — the kind that society has long repressed in men around the world.
If we were to look at cars, also machines for our personal use, as having emotional and spiritual rights, there would be major additional issues with car repairs, mechanics, insurance companies, etc. Sex robots, the ‘Simply Machines’ ones can potentially be treated, purchased, resold (when fully disinfected) and used as cars.
Earlier this year, I gave an interview to Germany’s Ramp magazine and discussed a fantasy of a car providing fellatio. There are many additional fantasies which sex robots including possible sex vehicles can provide, not to mention a large number of new jobs associated with programming, maintenance, production, training and evaluation of these new pleasure machines.
In several cultures prior to Christianity, men had wives, families and sexual freedom, now a man is restricted. A woman or a male partner may believe that her/his husband’s penis belongs to them. She/he may assume to be the master of his/her husband’s sexual organs and if anyone was to trespass her/his rights, she/he could do whatever he/she wishes in the form of sexual justice. Including but not limited to divorce, alimony, slander, destruction of reputation and so on. The current culture, in many ways, applauds such action. Men are not only left having compromised their true selves for years but at a complete societal loss.
Yes, sexuality should be consensual and of legal age. Sex robots can provide men, intersex people, and women nearly complete pleasure while also reducing repression, the kind which leads to a plethora of negative and destructive behaviors.
